A age 6:has just discovered the concept of making money..."I know what I can do to make a little money! I will make paper airplanes and sell them at the end of the driveway!"
Help me out here folks! none of the half dozen parenting books I have read (ok so more like a dozen but that first year was really tough) have ever covered this topic so you let him sit at the end of our quiet gated complex in hope of people flocking for his original airplane designs? or be the cruel mother to dash his dreams of large driveway airplane sales???
My heart is breaking either way.
G age 4 then decided he would jump on the money making bandwagon and is planning big sales in large drawings on paper - sporting googly eyes - many, many googly eyes!
All this with the forecast of rain, should be an entertaining weekend, if you are in need of 'creative' paper airplanes or an art piece that will watch you (with it's many eyes) no matter where you are in the room you know where to find us :)
I will be the sopping wet mother standing somewhat to the side hovering over a hot cup of coffee, emotionally swinging between laughter and tears - Oh and googling parenting books on teaching your offspring about money!
