Monkey buisness!

So inevitably every blogger must reach a point when they ask themselves the question... to share or not to share this moment? Will this embarrass my children or myself long term? and the answer this time is YES, but still I feel driven to add this to our little log of embarrassments and inner thoughts because well that is I guess how I roll!

The other morning awoken by hysterical laughter coming from the boys bedroom Kevin wandered down the hall to investigate the goings on to find them both up on the top bunk hovered above an etch-a-sketch drawing, G. nearly hyperventilating from belly laughs and A. holding his artistic work proudly for his father to see.

I know you're waiting...

wait...

wait....

and here it is...

G age 3: exclaims through near tears "It has breasts!!!"

A age 5: promptly says "It's Mommy!" while attempting to hold back the grails of laughter begging to be released.

Kevin with great difficulty gave the proper fatherly explanation that this is inappropriate but I am amazed he made it through the discussion without bursting.

I myself, if asked honestly, am maybe not as offended as I should be and am actually quite relieved that he drew them no where near their actual location which is closer to my knees!

side note*
In case anyone is feeling a little concerned I thought I would share that most of the artwork resembles this theme and/or many more normal images cars, dogs, planes and things of that nature. Actually on second glance maybe we should be concerned because I am unsure as to what one would need a helmet for when using and etch-a-sketch(!)

oh my that is hilarious! I'm glad they chose to share it with their parents for all our enjoyment. Somehow I don't think older kids would be so proud to show their parents their nudie pics!
