AJ: after meds kicked in, felt the lack of food from 24 hour of vomiting...
Says "I feel kinda hungry"
Kev had made waffle in hopes AJ could eat being a long time parent had packed them when we left for the hospital, he says "I have waffle in my pocket..."
AJ: Do you have any syrup?
(this may have been a you had to be there moment we were all imagining him pulling a giant bottle of Aunt Jemima out of his other pocket)
About the thermometer at check in.
AJ with extreme concern: "do they ever wash that between people?"
G: about AJ's illness (right into the phone with Grandma Anne) "is he gonna die?"
This may not be the best delivery of these events but this Momma's pooped! Hope you are all healthy and happy.

I would ask the exact same question about the ear thermometer if I didn't know the truth!!
Ok about the ear thermometer please don't tell me the 'truth' I would rather live in ignorance. Yuck!
It was the oral thermometer they put that little plastic sleeve on so it was ok but it totally made me laugh that the kid I have seen lick his own sock (he'd been wearing all day!) would think to be concerned. I'm calling it progress :)
