Me, walking through Wal-mart...
teenage boy- skateboard in hand looking lost stops me with "excuse me?"
Me:"yes"
teenage boy "what would YOU like for Christmas?"
me: somewhat startled. "are you looking for your Mom?"
teenage boy: with shy smile "ya, my step Mom"
after asking what she did for work I stoped to think a moment then answered "a manicure set!"
I didn't think the teenage boy would understand if I teared up and said "all she really wants is to hear 'thank you' have a real hug and for just one day not hear complains and constant requests she just wnats to enjoy you smiling and happy.

what would you all like to find under the tree this year??? any special requests???

Oh LK that is tough! hope it is going smoothly...or as smoothly as possible :)
Not too badly, but I'm really achy all the time. I think my body is complaining that I'm putting it through this for the third time. :)
