Driving today with the boys went something like this...
On the radio they say Art Linkletter from Kids Say The Darnedest Things has passed on at the age of 97. They proceed to play their top 3 favorites from his show.
The last of the 3 clips went something like this:
Art Linkletter: what would make a good husband?
little girl: If he would let his wife havfe 22 babies and be ok with that.
Art Linkletter: Laughing and what do you want to be when you grow up?
little girl: a nun!
from the back seat of my car...
A age 6: "do people really have 22 babies?"
Me: "Yes, there is a woman on t.v. who has had 19 children in real life."
A: "In her tummy all at the SAME time!?!?"
Me: "no all at different times"
G age 4 chimes in with " and they're yellow and blue and green and purple and black!" (in sing song I might add)
A and I:!?!?!?
Me:"no sweetie I think they are all the same color"
G: "There is a girl in my class and she's black!"
I just love how these conversations come about!
Let's be honest the skin color conversation no problem, the octomom bit I have no idea how to explain!!!
