A age 6: after being told (again) to go to bed, "I'm kinda confused if your tired & I'm not why don't you go to bed and I'll watch the place!"
G age 3 10/12:"I can't sleep." (for the 1000th time)
me:"read a book in bed."
G: "I can not read!!!!"...said with exasperation as if I am completely daft.
